South coast pop rockers, Brother Goose release their new EP next week, What’s What. The band have been making waves lately, being featured on BBC Introducing, this EP follows up their successes recently, and what a follow up it is, with some big synth sounds and driven guitars, it’s a great record.
Opening track Shapeshifter, has a great melody with some fantastic us of different synth sounds that makes these songs unique, this unique quality continues on the EP throughout, I Don’t Want To continues this, with some catchy choruses and cool melodies that really makes Brother Goose have an EP that really stands out.
What’s What has some well written songs and catchy choruses, tracks like Brothers In Arms, one of the highlights of the record, with a down to earth sound which is very well written, but there’s tracks like Shapeshifter that are simpler but catchy, and that’s no bad thing, and Rambling Man continues in the same vein – the band have a unique sound here, it’s certainly worth a listen.
Brother Goose have made some excellent tracks on this EP, with some strong melodies and big choruses that anyone would want to join with, there’s some good use synth, there’s a lot of good things here and Brother Goose are certainly a band you should definitely be listening to if you like some edgy pop music. Highlights of this EP are Brothers In Arms, Full Speed and Rambling Man.
