Review: Evering – Have No Fear.

everingThe Evering, a duo from Scotland recently released their video for new single, Have No Fear and they release the single this Friday, which you can give a listen here. Influenced by a range of influences including scottish folk music and Jeff Buckley the duo certainly have some great influences.

These two  have a way with fantastic melodies with some classy piano work and easy guitar sounds that pleases your ears from start to finish, working together in harmony, those folk inspirations shine through delicately throughout the song – the two work together well on this track and they make for a nice listen.

The vocals are enjoyable too, Yendell’s are strong and really play to the emotion and honesty in the song that makes it a captivating listen, Coulshed’s female vocals backing him up perfectly in places. There’s some real passion listening to this song, with some real romance to the it that works for them incredibly easily.

Certainly worth a listen if you like folk, this band have something great going on together.
