Review: Patch & The Giant – Flowers.

pg-album-portrait-20-v1-credit-marcus-duran-mediumPatch & The Giant recently released their latest single, Flowers which you can give a listen to above. The band who release their new album in February of next Year, ‘All We Had, We Stole’ return with a track that is about longing for home, and Patch & The Giant come back with an incredible track.

This band show they have a way with melodies on this track, with smooth guitar sounds that work perfectly on Flowers, with a sound that builds as the track goes on. Their unique collection of instrumentalists that include celloists and mandolin players, really do allow this band to create a unique sound on this track and that varied sound stands out with ease.

The vocals are light on this track, but blend perfectly with the sound they are creating, which takes centre stage on this track, the music is crafted brilliantly here, and makes for some an awesome indie folk sound that I look forward to hearing more of from this band.
