Yes Man is the latest release from Justin Levinson. Made up of ten tracks inspired by 60’s pop, Justin Levinson takes those influences and creates something original and it makes for an intriguing sound throughout Yes Man. You can find out more about Levinson through Facebook here and listen to the album on Spotify now.
This album is packed with some excellent melodies throughout that work throughout this record, tracks such as Safety In The Rain stand out on this record with great drum beats and retro grooves that work through every track, this continues on track Homewrecking Machine, where those melodies continue to work with Levinson’s vocals.
Levinson has a real way with words and certainly can create some great hooks on Yes Man, the melodies work with their infectious sound, Levinson clearly is just so naturally suited to the sound he’s making on this record and you can tell listening to this. There are many highlights on this record but for me where Levinson’s strengths lay are on tracks such as Megaphone where those hooks come into play and tracks such as Together Forever where the melodies really get this album begun perfectly.
