False Advertising release their new EP, I Would Be So Much Happier If I Just Stopped Caring. On tour throughout the UK right now, this band have been gaining attention and this EP shows exactly why. You can give a listen to the one of band’s new tracks now, Not My Fault through Youtube here.

A band that has a handle on great, upbeat melodies, False Advertising are certainly a band that make a record with plenty of energy, the guitars really picking up the pace on tracks such as Honest which is one of the most infectious songs I have heard this year. Those pops of energy continue on  I Think I Got My Wish, taking and picking up the pace with real genius.

Writing this band keep it simple but effective. Opening track Hey You is made to be sung along to, with a cool chorus and vocals that deliver these words with a dose of genuine power that sounds so good. This band have some huge hooks, Honest stands out for those reasons too, this band creating tracks that live that could easily be anthems, and it makes for such a great listen.

I Would Be So Much Happier If I Just Stopped Caring is an EP that puts this band on the map. Great, fuzzy energy with cool vocals, False Advertising are a band that you should keep an eye on, they have so much potential. Tracks that stand out for me are are Hey You and I Think I Got My Wish.

8.5/10.
