Review: The Subways – Burning Heart EP.

British punk is great right now, and The Subways are another reason why it is, and thanks to Noise Trade you can listen to their Burning Heart EP for free – you can find a link to the EP here. The band are touring the whole of Europe for the rest of the year.

Big rowdy choruses and tracks consistently catchy on this EP, these tracks live will be incredible in the near future, tracks such as It’s A Party really make that incredibly clear from the start of the track. Tracks such as I’m In Love And It’s Burning In My Soul really are quite infectious and it makes it a lot of fun to listen to.

A band that sounds great together with awesome melodies and some great grooves created by the guitars, the band really show how good they are on this EP, and I can’t imagine someone not liking this, close to punk perfection with a lot of energy and pace, the vocals work brilliantly with the music that makes for one of best EP’s I’ve heard this year, and this is just a taste of what is to come from the band. One of the best things you can for free this year.

10/10.
